Ontos was used very effectively in Vietnam . During the March 1968 ,Battle of Hue, part of the Tet Offensive, the USMC Ontos provided direct fire to suppress enemy positions and to blow holes in the buildings so the Marines could advance. They were also extremely useful for providing suppressive fire and as counter-sniper weapons.
The new kit B6-35025 includes two figures that can be used as Ontos crew and also be useful to display with some other vehicles like M-274 mechanical mule with recoilless or M-106. The kit includes an AFV Crewman posing on the top hatch and an ammo loader with 106 mm ammo shell.
Figures wear US combat uniform, M1955 flak vests, jungle boots, CVC and M1 helmets
